Amanda was born and raised in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. With over fifteen years of
performing experience this multi-talented artist has defined her own recognizable sound and has found her place on the world’s stage. Singing internationally while writing and recording new material has become her focus. Some of the highlights of Amanda’s career are listed below.

• Performed in Beijing, China during the Olympics at the hottest Olympic sponsored night club in town.

• Amanda is currently working with the award winning producer, composer, arranger and musician Miles Black on new material for her upcoming album.

• Amanda has three albums: Live at Rossinis 2004, Amanda Wood 2005 and
Live from Shanghai 2006. These are all available for sale at live performances.

• Performed in Nerumburg, Germany 2007 & 2008

• Private show for over 2000 people at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.

• Performed in Orlando Florida 2007& 2009

• Performed with David Foster at a charity event in Vancouver, B.C.

• Performed for and became good friends with Quincy Jones.

• Performed a private concert for the King of Malaysia in Shanghai, China.

• Performed a VIP show with the Jeff Goldblum Quintet in LA.

• Performed in L.A. with the beautiful, award winning sax player Katja Rieckermann
( from the Rod Stewart touring band )

• Performed with Nita Whitaker during a charity event. Nita created the original
performances for The Bodyguard Original Soundtrack.

• Performed with world famous violinist Lara St. John.

• Featured performer with the Dal Richards Orchestra at venues such as
the White Rock Sea Festival and annually at the historic PNE.

• Performed at the 5 star Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai, China

• Attended University on multiple scholorships for the performing arts,
music and academics.

• Sold out shows around Vancouver, B.C. at local venues such as the Jazz Cellar.

Amanda continues her journey as an artist as she seeks new depths to her writing and musical experiences. She continues to pursue her dream of inspiring others through the positive power of her music.
